The facility will serve the new residential communities Al Mamsha and Arada in Sharjah, to reuse their wastewater.

Our design process was especially challenging because of the enormous scale and harshness of materials that go into industrial projects. We were therefore responsible for improving the project‘s aesthetics and making it interactive and elegant for the community. The concept also involved creating a laboratory building used for educational purposes in collaboration with the University of Sharjah.

In addition to the region‘s pearling and fishing history, we also drew inspiration from the significance of water. An additive concrete 3D printing technique will be used to create the entire structure around the project.

As the residential community grows, the project evolves. Between now and 2030, three major phases will be completed. Upon completion of each phase, the project must look appealing until it transitions to the next.
