As part of its rebranding campaign, Atelier Perfumery will open its first branch in City Center Al Zahia. Quite the opposite of its long-time signature look, which was one of our shortlists among built retail projects at 2020 CID Awards. Our task was to refresh the design language and introduce festive colors and finishes for the new facelift. As well as staying true to the Emirati identity of the brand, we had to consider its history as well as adhere to the “sacred and clean” look and feel.

Our main objective in designing the space was to provide a luxurious yet humble atmosphere without sacrificing luxury. A number of functional elements have been incorporated into the design, and products such as perfume bottles and packages served as an inspiration for our interior design.

In this store, there are three spatial sequences, with the trial seating and side tables located at the back. In order to maximize visibility and openness, the spaces are not separated by walls or partitions but by full height studs finished in brass.
